How our questions are made
Each question follows a rigorous development process:
- Sourced from recommended texts — every question is based on content from ACEM-recommended textbooks, not invented or sourced from unreliable materials
- Fellowship difficulty standard — questions are written to discriminate at fellowship level, with two options that are genuinely difficult to distinguish between
- Referenced explanations — explanations cite the specific textbook and section so you can follow up and read further
- Quality controlled — each question is checked against a quality checklist covering clinical accuracy, answer validity, distractor plausibility, and language standards
